I am looking for some help with iron sights for my new lever gun. I have open sights-rear is "flat top style" and adj. with a ramp for elevation and drift/dovetail for windage. Front sight is Marbles 1/16" gold bead. I am shooting to the left about 1 1/2" at 50 yards and have drifted the rear sight about as much as i feel comfortable with. Which way do I drift the front sight to move the group to the right? Do I drift the front to the right as well or is the front opposite? Any help will be appreciated.

You move the rear sight the direction you want to move the bullet impact point. Front sight you move in the opposite direction. IE: if you gun is shooting left move the rear sight to the right. Move the front sight further left. As usual just my $.02 Paul K
