The new Winchester 1873 is advertized it has the rear tang drilled and tapped for scope mount.
I love the look and feel of the 73's just not liked the sights with my older eyes.

What scope/ mount set up would that be?

On the rear tang?, that sounds as if it's ready for a folding rear peep.
