winchester is the only one making brass for it.
they make it once a year, probably not this year though.
hornady makes bullets for it,they can be got all year long though.
if you really wanna shoot it it can be made from the 45-70 family of brass.

Winchester used the 50-110 WCF case as the parent cartridge of the 348 Winchester. 50-110 and 50 Alaskan brass is available from Starline and can be used to form 348 brass. 45-70 brass IS NOT suitable.

I'm always on the search for .348 brass and bullets. My best results come from finding winchester .348 at gun shows. Good luck. I love my .348. If I only had one rifle my Mod 71 would be it.

Gents,

The Graf and sons website says they have .348Winchester brass in stock. I really like my carbine for hogs, javelina, and deer. When the thrill is gone, I may make it an AI or rebarrel to a .35 or .411 caliber.

thumb Correct.

It is the predecessor to the .348, the .33 Winchester, which can be made from .45-70 brass.

My Model 71 changed a charging sow grizzly into a dlp turn-in with one shot near Denali several years back. Needless to say, it's one of my favorites.

The only thing I have used was H4831 but I have high hopes for RE17. That stuff has been tops in every mid-bore I have tried it in. I got off track and I have two other calibers ahead of the 348 but it is coming. BTW, it is a 230.

Lane,
not on the 348 but along the lines of the 33WCF post the other day.

While @ Jackson Armory in Dallas , I saw they have 3 original boxes of Peters .33WCF and 1 box of Winchester if you are interested.
( Or did you trade the .33)
