BLR Cleaning from the breech

Hi All,
There are many people clean from the muzzle, which isn't a problem in the larger calibers, however I have a 222, and there isn't much clearance between barrel and rod.
Most people I have spoken to about cleaning from the breech advise the great difficulty in re-assembling the action with correct bolt lock up.
I assume the factory have some sort of indexing system as it would be costly to have a person assemble each rifle.

Has anyone found a way to do this successfully?

I solve this issue by using "Bore Snakes" to clean my BLRs. A second choice is a cleaning rod with a bore guide from the muzzle. I don't recommend disassembling the action just to clean the BLR rifle.
