Spoke with Geoff McDonald of Woodleigh bullets this morning and they are about to commence production of a 500 gr bullet suitable for the large bore lever guns in .50 Alaskan & 50-110 Winchester. It will expand at velocities obtainable in modern production .50 AK's & 50-110's. He will begin production next week.

To soft in my opinion.Had a fella from Alaska test one through Moose Bones and it held together but flattened like a pancake.I like the thicker jackets with a nice core left to push it on...The velocity range is also different between the 405 for the 45-70 and the 350 RN for the 458's.. There all good. Jayco
