I bought a Henry I wanted a Tang Sight Couldn't find anything for the Henry So I bought a Lyman made for a Win 94. Now the question I have is... The sight is not in line with the front sight when it is straight on the tang. If I move it over to the left a little bit it lines up with the sight but then it not straight on the tang I have never had a tang sight before and I was wondering if there was something I was missing as far as L to R adjustment, cause I don't see any way to mount it straight in line with the tang and with the front sight at the same time. So do I drill/tap the new hole in line with the tang so it looks right or do I move it to the left and drill/tap it there so it is "sighted in"? Thanks Ben ---------------------------- | ||

My Tang sight has an adjustment where the stem of the sight fits to the base so you can move the aperture of the sight left or right. That being realized I drilled the holes in the tang to be centered I would drill the holes centered, I have seen some Tang Sights with shims under one side to get them centered. Steve E......
