I would like to change the pistol grip stock on a newly acquired Marlin 336 from pistol grip to straight grip. Besides the straight grip stock and straight finger lever, what else would I have to do? Thanks for your replies. The only easy day is yesterday!

With the new tang, why not just get a new straight grip stock and save the original? Cal- I have a straight lever stock with a crescent end that I've used in the past to replace a stock with a cheek piece. I will hang onto the original. Thank you 450ak! The only easy day is yesterday!
