I have a Rossi 92 45 Colt and 150 Sierra 300 gr bullets to load any pet loads from guys whom hunt with this caliber in a lever gun?

I found an article by Brian Pierce in Rifle 199
He lists a 310 grn Keith cast bullet with 25 grns of H110 and a cci 350 primer. In a 20" 94 he got 1820 fps.
He said pressure should be in the 32,000 cup level. He thought higher pressures didn't warrant the return on vel.

Thanks. I am using Sierra 300 gr8 Sports Master/ H110 22.0 grs 1200fps around 27000 pressure have killed a few deer with that load out to 100 yrs in my lever guns ( win legacy and rossi ) . It is a bit much in m y wheelgun though.

I have used the 300 gr. Hornady XTP with 22.0/Win. 296 on several deer. They were all one-shot kills, and all under 50 yards. The load generally shoots right around 1" at 100 yards from my Marlin 1894, and velocity is 1500 fps.
