buckeyeshooterThe 1886 is a 45/70 and the 1895 is 30-06. In the boxes is a 30-06 takedown and a 30-40 krag

buckeyeshooterIt is very difficult to beat. The 'repro' carbine has the ladder sight that is regulated to 1200 yards. Naturally, here in Ohio, it is very difficult to find a range that is longer than 150 yards. But it shoots better than I can hold it!

AtkinsonI love those Win. 95 Carbines..My uncle carried one under the seat of his pickup for many years for shooting coyotes and bobcats on his sheep and goat ranch. Also shot a lot of deer with it..I also shot a couple of deer with it..It was a 30-03 (30-06) Krag and he only shot the 220 gr. Remington Corelokts as I recall..It killed well. I worked or a rancher that also shot his game with the same gun but in 30-40 Krag. He kept his in the pickup also and aways complained about me shooting up all his ammo..
You have stirred my juices, I am now in the market for either a new one or a used one..who has the new ones in stock?
