Just bought a restored one in 38-40. excellent bore and action. Not original, but very nice and made before 1888.

(I used to be Bill in Oregon n. 2)

I had one years ago in .40-60 WCF. An interesting action layout with a very long lever throw and requiring loading only when the action was fully open. I liked it, regardless, except for the rather awful trigger pull mine had. I was intrigued by the fact that the lever had no pivot point, but rather slithered and slid through the action on internal guideways.
