My 71 has never shot very well, not sure why. The barrel is a bit light and there is a huge dovetail cut for the forend hanger which can't help. My dad always used the 250 gr. Silvertips but as I recall they were not great. I haven't tried the Barns 250's but will have to get around to it. If I could get a really good job done I would like to convert it to 50-110.
