there seems to be a demand for them out there, but i've never had one. the only 2 really successful 22mag autos i know of is magnum researchs and the old 611 brno
I have one of the 611 brno's that I have had for about 15 years (maybe, I am not sure). I got a bad lot of winchester ammo that was oversized and thought it was messed up, but determined the actual problem. It has been a good rifle for a long time.
I have heard the rugers had a lot of problems, but I don't know what the problems might be.
They are getting hard to find and the price has gone up quite a bit on them. New in box seem to be getting $700+ I have one and love it. Check gunbroker for recent sold prices.

The problems they had were with the extractor so ruger put dual extractors on them as a fix. The inner extractor had a tendency to fall off and destroy the bolt. The best thing to do is replace the extractors with a volquartsen one. Easy fix and there's lot's of info about this on rimfirecentral.com
