Picked up an old beater Cooey 64B that needed a new ejector and mag. I painted it and polished the barreled action. It turned out nice but the only way it will feed that first shell from the clip (mag) is if i push the mag forward which points the bullet into the chamber. If i dont do this, the bullet get rammed into the edge of the chamber. Rocking the mag forward "lifts" the bullet into place. Its a new mag and it has about an 1/8th of an inch mag play forward to back in the mag well. I was thinking of building up the mag with some JB Weld to get it more solid in the well before i spend another 26.00 on a new mag. Anyone play with the feeding of these Cooeys??

It looks like you have it well sorted out. How does it shoot?

Speer, Sierra, Lyman, Hornady, Hodgdon have reliable reloading data. You won't find it on so and so's web page.

Since you only have one magazine, I'd suggest building up the back of the mag with your JB instead of the well.

for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside
