I recently purchased a new 17 HMR LVT that would not feed the first round out of the magazine correctly. Disappointed with the new rifle I called Cooper. They told me they would email a prepaid UPS shipping label to send the rifle back to them (just had to print it out). Rifle was received back today so I loaded up a magazine and tried it. Feeds all 4 like a charm. Does not matter if the bolt is closed first and the full mag is then inserted. Can't say for sure but it looks like they polished the bottom of the chamber rounding it off and causing a smoother entry for the bullets. Pretty happy at this point although I have not yet fired the rifle at the range, that will happen this weekend. Nice of them to prepay shipping both ways and return it so quickly. I expected quality service like this when I bought the rifle and Cooper delivered. Good service counts and it looks like I will be placing an order for a Classic 22 WMR soon if a used lefty doesnt show up on gunbrokers soon! My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost. | ||

The very finest of companies can ocassionally send out a product that has a problem. It's nice to know how they take care of you when that happens. THanks for the report. | |||
