Some years ago .22 rimfire ammunition bearing both Remington and Eley names was available in the US. Apparently Remington was importing Eley ammunition into the US with the Remington name also on it. This ammo was significantly less expensive than ammo bearing just the Eley name, but it seemed to be the same in quality.

This Remington/Eley ammo seems no longer to be available. Has Remington discontinued this?

I think it's been discontinued. They had three levels of it. It was neither better nor worse than several other things in both my 10/22 and Kimber.

I found a supply of Remington/Eley Target Rifle at Bass Pro Shop just a few days ago.

I was unable to find out whether this is a new shipment, or a stash that has been on hand for some time.
