How is the accuracy of the Ruger American 22lr, compared to other popular rifles like the Cz 452 and Rem 541-S? I like the idea of interchangeable comb and adjustable trigger, but don't hear much about how it all works out in practice. I would like to hear from people who have experience with either the full size or compact version, and have compared results with other rifles.

Don't have a CZ, yet, or a 541-s, I do have a 541-t....

The American I bought for my wife shoots really well. I don't really like the hard plastic stock myself but she bangs wood one up pretty bad.


And it uses 10-22 mags which I really like.

My Ruger American shoots as good as my 541-S with the right ammo. The trigger is better on the 541.
