I bought this little pump rifle at a reputable gun shop in Nampa, Idaho. It was hung on the wall with the sign "Accurate!" on it. Has a 24" barrel and is a take-down model. I took it out and shot some CCI with a 30gr Vmax bullet. It would only hold about 2+ inch groups at 25 yards off a bench rest. Not good! It also would not eject about 1 of every 3 fired cases. I just read that a lot of 22 mag ammo with the 30gr bullets don't shoot that well and I would be better off with the CCI Maxi Mag with a 40gr bullet. Anybody have any experience with this type rifle. I want to use it for shooting cowboy leveraction silhouette out to 100 yrds. Any ammo recommendations, sights, etc., would be appreciated. Thanks | ||

Take a look at this: http://forums.accuratereloadin...=536100718#536100718 lower down are a series of targets I shot at 50 yards with a variety of ammo. Your gun may well be different. 100 yard groups were disappointing. That link or others may well have the 100 yard group targets as well. Peter. PS. I recommend that you scope this thing while deciding which ammo is the most accurate, then having determined that, you can switch back to open sights. Do they allow a peep rear sight?
