I wonder how much the ammo is compared to 17 HMR? Perhap's 17 Hornady is still the better option.

In an add I saw the 17WSM is supposed to be around $15 per box. Guess I'll have to get another rifle....darn it. Its based on a 27 cal nail gun blank that has about twice as thick brass as the 17HMR. Can't wait.

Cool little cartridge. If some group or other finds a niche use for it, it may do quite well.
