I would like to know more about these fine rifles, history, model descriptions, etc. Are there any reference books available? Thanks for any information you may have.

Nice rimfire rifles. Once at Blue Trail Range, I was shooting next to a guy with a brand-new one. He was having trouble getting nice groups and was utterly devastated at the half-inch groups I was getting with a warmed-over Marlin 60. The mystery was cleared up quick: I was shooting Lapua Midas L, he was shooting WalMart cheapies. I gave him a handful of the Midas L, and his Anschutz brightened up right quick.

Nope, no other infinite wisdom to bestow; but I thought that knowing how to spell it might help you better find information.
