I'm looking for a basic 22lr bolt action for practice. I've been looking at a CZ 513 and its the right price. How are these rifles? Do you need to use CZ mounts on them, or will standard 22 dovetails work? Thanks! Before all else, be armed. Machiavelli

Depending on price I would opt for the 452 trainer becuase of the better sights. But, if that is not an option I'd go with a 513. teh 513 is like the 452 cadet in terms of sights, they work well but aren't as nice as the trianer. However, they are easier to scope than the 452. The rear sight does not interfere with teh scope bell as much. You must use 11mm dovetail rings. I've used the warne 7.3 rings on all my cz's with very good results. I doubt you would regret it. I have 5 cz .22's and am working on number 6.
