I just installed a bunch of upgrades from Tandemkross in my 22/45 that allow the slingshot slide release, removed the mag disconnect so the mags now drop free, a titanium firing pin, and extractor and removed the loaded chamber indicator. greatly improved functionality, marginally improved trigger. Overall please with it and would recommend it. https://www.tandemkross.com/ NRA Benefactor. Life is tough... It's even tougher when you're stupid... John Wayne

Biggest improvement to the trigger with the least effort is to install the Volquartsen target sear. http://www.rimfiresports.com/m...TS&Category_Code=VC2 I put one on my Mark II and it reduced the trigger pull from 4.5# to about 2.5#

The first generation of the 22/45 was a pretty decent pistol, I love mine. I handled a new one at the gun store a couple of weeks ago. I was not impressed with the "improvements" Ruger has made in the past couple of decades. Hate the disconnect safety, the trigger was horrible, and it just felt cheap.

I have one of the first gen 6 7/8 inch 22/45 slab sides with a 4x Leupold pistol scope on it and really like it, it is way more accurate than I am. Steve.......... NRA Patron Life Member GOA Life Member North American Hunting Club Life Member USAF Veteran

I got a 22/45 MKIV a couple of months ago. Man that new MKIV is awesome it cues apart and goes together slick. Kinda like removing an AR upper. Old Bill is up there in heaven wondering why he didn't think of that 50 years ago! Good trigger as well. .
