I shoot my Savage Mark II Bolt Action 22LR a lot. It really likes the SK Standard Plus ammo, but it has been steadily going up in price to $5.95 for box of 50 and only one place in town carries it. The little Pawn/Gun Shop where I get my ammo just got in some Wolf Match Target 22LR ammo for $52 per brick (500). I have found it on the internet for about $45, but with shipping the local price is better. Does anyone have much experience with it? I shot 2 boxes of 50 of it and it is not quite as good as the SK Standard Plus, but good enough for me to win most of our informal matches. My major concern is how clean it is over the long haul? I live in SE Oklahoma (2 to 3 hours from a large city, so there isn't much competition down here. Confused

They are made in the same factory- which is owned by Lapua- In my stuff they both shoot very well.

Yep they are made in the same manufacturing plant as has been stated. From what I understand one lot may get boxed as Wolf Match Target and the next lot may get boxed as SK Jagd Standard Plus. I think the differences are about what you can expect out of different lot numbers of either at any given time.

I have shot Wolf for years and only the last couple years shot SK when I couldn't find any Wolf. The first lot of SK I had shot great but the last lot I had wasn't quite as good.

Last Tuesday I did a head to head accuracy comparison with the lots of SK Jagd Standard Plus and Wolf Match Target that I currently have on hand. In my Custom Ruger 77/22 with Clark Custom Guns 20" Bull Barrel the Wolf Match Target averaged .921" for 4 - 5 shot groups at 100 yards while the SK Jagd Standard Plus averaged 1.185" from the bench.

Granted there is not a lot of difference but a difference none the less. With Rimfire Ammo I could buy different lots of both the Wolf Match Target and SK Jagd Standard Plus, shoot them both again and have different results.

Wolf MT and SK Std Plus have alwasy sold for the same price. If one goes up in price, I would expect that the other on would follow suit.
They are the same ammo.
