Does temperature extreme cause problems that someone in a four-climate year location will be unlikely to have? It's so simple to be wise. Just think of something stupid to say and then don't say it. Sam Levinson

Re: Temperature problems. Saeed, isn't the tunnel underground, with relatively stable environmental conditions? On other Forums, temperature problems with .22 rimfire target ammo is discussed. The most common problem is extreme cold. That's where the various Biathlon loadings are said to work best. Discussed on a Forum frequented by Canadian shooters and on another Forum for Biathlon competitors. Re: Lubed vs No Lube. Are you cleaning the barrel between the Lubed and No Lube experiments? Many serious .22 rimfire shooters consider stable distribution of lube in the barrel a prerequisite to good shooting. Common practice is to have at least one shot dedicated to lube distribution for each one inch or 25 mm of barrel length. Only after that do you go for points or group size. If you do not clean the barrel, residual lube may suffice for many shots, thus skewing results. Eley Club Extra I have 2 cases of the stuff that is really a production overrun from the Tenex line. Production date was 2008. Still shoots pretty accurately.

l was wondering if the bullet shape and alloy had anything to do with some shooting more accurately when de-lubed than others.
