My first venture into a custom rifle, it has AA Claro wood, Leupold type 2pc.integrated bases, stainless match grade barrel, all bedded floated with a great test target. A Weaver T36 is going on it this weekend. 17HRM caliber. Can certainly see the Anschutz influences in bolt release, dual extractor, even Anschutz single shot adapter and clips will fit (they say), so look out ground squirrels, I'm coming for you real soon....r in s.

That's a dream gun for me. Congratulations! Any pictures? Please report how it shoots too (I know they all shoot great but it's fun to hear). Thanks, Kyler

Man, you messed up and bought a COOPER! You let the pretty wood get in your eyes? Lost sight of form following function? Wellllll, okay I guess. I mean, having owned a 57M in that caliber I suppose I can overlook the good looks. Cooper makes it easy to do because the darn things shoot almost as good as they look. Or is it they look almost as good as they shoot? Oh well, never mind. I bet you will enjoy the heck out of it. Probably make you feel good all over every time you shoot it. They really make nice rifles. Congrats on the Cooper. Any ground squirrel should feel honored to get bagged with a Cooper, and most likely lots of them will. BTW, Anschutz, and Savage mags will fit them.

I've had my lefty 57m in 17HMR for about three years. Put a 3.5x10 VXIII on it. It shoots so good I gave my 12 year old son my Volquartsen 22 mag. You will not be disapointed.
