I have 4 Stoger Luger 22 pistols which I always shot CCI 22 ammo in.It was usually the 40 gr Hp mini mags. They are very hard to find or totally gone from almost everywhere here in Ga.What other kind of 22 ammo is just as good.I tried the cheap Winchester ,Remington and Federal they all jam.The 60 gr ones with the short case work I forgot the maker of them.I have not seen any of those lately. They all like stinger cci 22 ammo best of all me 2.My brothers Bretta 22 only like CCI also .I hope they get to making more at CCI.

My Ruger 10/22 likes Rem Yellowjackets and Rem Gold bullets.Wouldn't shoot well with the CCI's or Win's I tried.Shot decent with Rem Tbolts but quite a few failed to fire.

I like SK Jagd "Standard Plus" - I get it from:

http://www.championshooters.com

they have lots of other brands in stock - cheaper and easier for me to have the UPS man drop off my bricks o'.22, rather than drive around looking for it.

Aguila SSS (Sniper Sub Sonics).

I have used them and they cycle every semi I have tried them in including a Ruger MK1 pistol.

It's hard to get any flavor of CCI around here, but Winchester Power Points are good, as are the Federal bulk offerings, if you just want your gun to go bang.

Our range officers say that more than 30% of the duds placed in the disposal bucket are Remington.

I have yet to find some of the Winchester 333s.

I've had big trouble with late production Winchester rimfire ammo: about 1 in 10 refuse to go bang. For the price I think you look long and hard to find anything as quality as CCI ammo. Federal Gold Metal Match is a good second choice if not a little pricey.

My Stoeger Luger liked the 40gr Winchester Power Points best...#X22LRPP. But that was 30 years ago. They weren't cheap then. I suspect they're not cheap now. Even if you can find them. They gave good plinking accuracy and no stovepipes.

+1

Wolf Match Target is the same as SK Std Plus.
That's my "go to" ammo. It seems to shoot well in most rifles, but not all of them.
RWS R-100 shoots best in two rifles I have, better than the ammo I mention above.

Most rimfire ammunition is surprisingly high quality and consistent. But to the extent that I've experience problems, either in feeding or in ignition, it has been with Remington brand.

CCI 22 LR ammo is good stuff.

However...

I have had very good results with Federal 22LR ammo.
