Marlin 25N trigger question

Doe anyone know if the trigger pull(which is very heavy) can be adjusted on a Marlin 25N? It was my Dad's rifle and I inherited it and it shoots very accurately considering what a trigger pull it has. I would really like to get that straightend out. Thanks for any advise.

The above link is probably your best bet for finding out how to modify your Marlin.

I too have an old Marlin Model 25 .22 LR. Yep the trigger left a lot to be desired. I did a little polishing and made a new lighterweight spring and that helped a lot.

A buddy of mine had a single shot Marlin Model 2000L Target Rifle with a two stage trigger. he was using it for indoor bench rest shooting and the trigger was not to his liking. I replaced his trigger with an Adjustable Trigger from Rifle Basix and once properly adjusted it was a great trigger.

There are a few options out there, depending on what you want.
