I have shot a couple of Winchester 22 Mag Levers and they were accurate.
I was suprised at how good they shot.

Not too much available in currently manufactured rifles. I have a Henry Youth model .22 LR that I bought for my grandson, and it perfoms pretty nicely, so if their .22 WMR does as well that might be something you can buy over the counter.

If you're looking for out-of-production guns, the Browning BPR has a good reputation (though hard to find). I recently came by a Marlin Model 57M short-throw lever action which shoot pretty decent groups and isn't too hard to find on the internet auction sites. The Winchester 94/22M has gotten pricey and has a stock that is too low for good scope alignment. The one I once owned shot fair groups, but nothing like the Kimber 82 I replaced it with.

I like the old Winchester 255 (lever) and 275 (pump) guns. Both are good choices, but I like the 275 better, 'cause I find it easier to shoot quick repeat shots.

If you have the opportunity to find a marlin 57M they are a pretty nice lever action. Just make sure it is in reasonable shape and I'd suggest you be able to shoot half a box of ammo through it if at all possible since they stopped making them a half century ago.
