Hello can someone tell me which year the production of the mod 2 began ? and what year did the Mod 2 go from 5/8 dovetail for scope to 3/8 dovetail ? and which year the factory was damaged by fire and or when quality control went downhill for a while, thankyou in advance for any information cheers

I think all the Mod 2's had the 15 mm dove tail the 3/8" came out in the CZ 452 for the american market. Here's a great post on Mod 2's.
