Any of you guys tried either the Fed Premium Match or Fed Premium Ultra Match 22Rimfire ammo?

I got a box of each awhile back. Seems a bit expensive, but it is pretty consistent Weight wise, has a "Waxy" coating similar to Eley, and shoots right with Eley in my rifle.

Only got to shoot it at 25yds because of time constraints and I was shaking like a Wino with DTs because of my Heartbeat being elevated. Maybe not enough Tea in me, plus a pure lack of Trigger Time.

It was just under $11 and $18 for a 50 count box of each in a local Gun Shop. May do a good bit better on the net.

So how about it, have you all tried it yet?

What are the #'s on the box?

Hey Moorepower, The Fed Premium Match is " 922A ". And the Fed Premium Ultra Match is " UM22 ".

I've got a few boxes of each on order. I'll try them in 3 different rifles @ 100m:

1. Rem 541 w/Leupold 3x9AO
2. Cooper 57M (heavier barrel) w/Nikon 6.5x20
3. Cooper Jackson Hunter w/Leupold 30x

Will post results, though may be a while as got lot of family 'stuff" in the near term.

Hey Pete, I'll guess they will do real well for you. Looking forward to seeing how well they actually do at 100yds.

I actually love the stuff. It has gotten very pricey with all of the ammo grabbing. My Winchester Model 52B loves it. Anyone know the very best place to get more of it at a reasonable price?
