I am thinking about getting a 452, found one in town for $350, think that is an ok deal?
Is there anything that i would need to check before I buy it? any problems that I might need to be aware of?

I have an American in 22LR. Love it, very well made and great shooter.
The 452 is being discountinued for the 455 model so get one while you can.

Not a bad price - all the 452's are going up in price and some of the other models you will have a hard time finding. Check out rimfire centrals sight the CZ section and you will find anything you want to know about them.

I just picked up a 452 lux for $340.00.

I thought it was a little high but didn't see many for sale and new americans were going for 430-450.

If its what you want...get it. With them discontinuing the 452's I doubt you will lose any money if you send it down the road.
