Well I added a model 1720( model 54 action, classic stock)in .22 WMR to the stable. It is ANIB and I am taking ideas for optics. I've got a savage anschutz 54 sporter that wears a Leupold compact 3x9 AO but I think I want to use either a 6x42 or a 3.5 x 10. I may be out of line as I believe the parallax is factory set at 150 yds on these.
Any other suggestions?
Next, any other Anny owners on here? what ammo does your rifle prefer? Might as well get a starting place.

I have the exact same gun. It wears a Leupold 4-12X A/O with a fine duplex. I use it for PDs. The Hornady 30 grain plastic bullets are great in mine.
