Last Thursday (December 11th) I received an email featuring Federal .22 ammo in stock and price included shipping. I've been trying to avoid the rush on .22 ammo the past two years but thought it was perhaps time to get some. So I placed an order and put it on my credit card. Promptly received an email receipt. On Friday I got another email with a Fedex Tracking number and that my order was going to be shipped within 2-3 business days. Late this afternoon (Monday), I received an email from Target Sports USA that their had been a computer glitch concerning inventory and my order couldn't be processed. It stated that they were expecting getting more ammo in '2-3 weeks'. Or I could get full-credit back on my credit card. Of course, it was after 5pm and they are closed so all I got was a recording. So it will be 9am EST before they open and I can find out how screwed I am. The Fedex tracking number indicates it was generated by Target Sports but no package has been picked up yet. I'm not getting a warm-fuzzy on this. Anybody else get this treatment from them? | ||

That whole Tracking Number thing is stupid.All it means is that the package has a number --nothing else !!!Between Tracking nuber and actual shipping many things can happen. Everything is automated now so everything is blamed on the computer ! | |||

Got through to their customer service and supposedly my credit card will be refunded within 2-3 days. Hopefully that will happen and it will be a closed matter. I get concerned when people/businesses tell me one thing, take my money, then change the deal. | |||
