My buddy has 2 Anschutzs 22 lr. One is called the chuckster it is small like a youth rifle. The other one has no # on it. They both have rails to mount scopes on but we are having a hard time finding rings for it. Does anybody have any experience with these rifles. Thanks in advance

Chuckster was a name used by Mossberg. Are you sure it was an Anschutz. In any case, it shoul have the usual tip off rings that are used for a 22. The old see through rings would work. Peter. Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong;

The anschutz rails have a rounded top to them that keeps some regular 22 tip-off rings from seating down into the grooves correctly....check the manu. website for a note that the rings will fit Anschutz....I used Warne rings untill I fitted mine with Redfield bases and centerfire rings.....the small rifle I have heard of but not seen one outside of catalogs......good luck and good shooting!! bigdaddytacp
