I have a LSS on the way, just wondering if the twist is fast enough to stabilize the Aguila 60gr. SSS.

Thanks guys!

Don't quote me on this but if memorey serves I wanna say something like 1-14 is what I read. Are you getting the magnum or standard LR.

Do yourself a favor soon as you get it take it apart and clean it. Make sure the guide rod set screws aren't to tight and order a VQ hammer for it and give it a slight polish. The hammer mod will drop the trigger pull down to about 3lbs or so depending on how much you polish it.

These 597's have gotten a bad rap because some of them had issues. Pretty much any and all of these issues were either magazine feed issues which with the newest versions have been fixed or guide rod problems which with the smallest amount of tuning can be fixed as well. These are great little rifles and are extremely accurate.

Now i'm second guessing myself. Maybe it's 1-16. I think it's one or the other. Very slow that's for sure and I would have to think to slow for what you are looking for. I think you would want something like a 1-10 or maybe faster. If I remember, tonight when I get home I will check mine and get back to you.
