How would I set up a 52B for best accuracy? It came to me with two small strips of rubber, one under the barrel at the end of the forend, and one close to the rear action screw. Is this common? Also, I am not sure how to use the barrel tension system - the band around the barrel close to the end of the forend, adjusted with a tapered screw. Accuracy tips?

The 52b does not have the best trigger of the series its sort of like a Mod54/70. it is adjustable .those strips are factory -you can play with the ft band try it loose then tighten and see if it helps. try different ammo it will probably like sub sonic best if its in original shape i would not alter it .
