Received my scope rings today and mounted my scope on the LH CZ452.

The BKL Standard rings are perfect for the 452 American odd-ball (3/8") mount. Prior to these BKL Rings I tried the Factory CZ rings as well as a set of Leupold "High" Rings. The CZ and Leupold rings would not clamp "square" to the receiver....was not impressed since the CZ rings were $70ish and the Leupold rings weren't far behind that.

I am very impressed with the BKL rings. First off -- They are Made in TEXAS! Received the tip on this brand from RimfireCentral. $19.99 and the Standard height will fit a 40mm objective. I wouldn't suggest the BKL "Tall" rings unless you are wanting to put a 50mm scope on.

Installed a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x40AO scope and boresighted.

The big issue with mounting a scope on the 452/455 is bolt-to-ocular end clearance. The BKL rings cleared the ocular end of this scope with ease.

I hope this post helps someone out who is wanting to mount a scope on their 452/455.

Those are the ones I have on my 452. Work great and they are not expensive. I would recommended to any one needing CZ rings.

Learn something new everyday. I just ordered several sets and a couple of risers just in case.

I tried to order for BKL site, but, they have to charge me sales tax, they were slightly more expensive, and the deal killer was that for less than $100 (4 sets rings) they wanted over $20 in shipping. I guess they haven't figured out the flat rate boxes yet.

So, I used Pyramyd Air, slightly cheaper, no sales tax, and buy $100 worth or more and free shipping. In addition, sign up for emails from them and save 10% on first order. I got what would have cost me well over $180 with shipping and tax at BKL for $140.

I'd like to use a Texas company, but the shipping was a deal killer.

Thanks for the tip on Pramyd Air, I'll look into them next time I need to order gun stuff.

I had ordered the BKL's through OpticsPlanet because of the same Shipping fee issue through the BKL site. OpticsPlanet occasionally has good shipping/discount coupons that help

I have a CZ-452 Silhouette with a Nikon EFR 3-9x40 on it and the combo is wonderfully accurate with Norma TAC ammo. (But it’s very good with any ammo.)

I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine!

Thanks B L! This rimfire is awesome. I am used to just using my tricked out 10/22...but this feels like a little big game rifle. Something about it. No short stroking the bolt!

I'll keep an eye out for that ammo, I've had good success with CCI in the past

As I've posted elsewhere, Midsouth Shooter's Supply has Norma TAC-22 on sale of $39/brick. I'm surprised they still have it on, but they do. Damn good price.

Also Midway has Eley Contact Subsonic on sale at $6.25 box, good price. Be aware that their per box price is cheaper than the same ammo per brick. Roll Eyes

I used Burris Signature rings for Weaver bases with JPI adapters on my CZ-452 American.

Perfect height for Weaver Classic V-24. Just enough clearance for Uncle Mike's lens caps on the 42mm objective.

1st trip to the range resulted in some respectable groups shot off sand bags @ 50yds. Plain old CCI SV 22lr

I'm getting a Caldwell Rock BR next week to see the true potential of this comnbo.

I picked my LH CZ 452 American Saturday, mounted a Nikon Monarch 3x-9x and fired it Monday.

I tried CCI Quiet, CCI Standard Velocity, Winchester '555 Rounds' bulk, and CCI MiniMags.

All groups were small and tight; no tinkering with the rifle beyond cleaning it.

The MiniMags shot best. Next time out, I'll try CCI Stingers and Federal bulk.
