I'm envious. I could have bought one of those dozens of times through the years at a very modest price, but was always interested in something else more. Now they are commanding premium dollars.
Oh well, at least I was smart enough to buy a Grade II Browning BL-22 back when they were less than $150.

Circa '54 with cool Lyman peep. Pic looks like it has patina on reciver but it does not. Remarkable shape for 55+ year old gun. Been lusting after one for years. Shoots well, spent the afternoon today working out sight settings out to 100m using CCI MiniMag Solids.
I love these guns, this makes 4 M39a's for me and my 2 sons. Almost same feel as a M94. Lots of cheap fun.
Bought a new (to me) one too! Picked it up Thursday, great way to spend a holiday weekend. It's a 39 Century Ltd. I love these guns:
Put a williams peep off a different 39a of mine. Will have to get a different rear or front sight as it still shoots 6" high @ 40m. Probably try the Lyman 66. It has a nice light quick pointing feel to it. So far shoots good groups (albeit high) with CCI MiniMag solids
I am a sucker for 39's!! This is number 5 for me & my sons.
