Today I received my Dan Lilja drop in barrels [Sundberg taper] for my Sako Quad. I have not shot the rifle yet---with either the factory or Lilja barrels. I hope to do so within a week or so.

The Lilja barrels are just gorgeous. I realize you can't tell too much about a barrel by just looking down the bore but the bores on these two barrels [.17 HMR and .22 WMR] look like polished mirrors. They are flat out beautiful. The fitment of the barrels into the receiver is perfect as well.

I can't wait to shoot these Lilja tubes. We just might make this Sako Quad into a real rifle yet!

Jordan I do believe that you have found a way to make the Quad an honest rifle. Good luck with these tubes. The best for rimfire accuracy in my house is the 10/22 Lilja HB. Feb 711B or similar subsonics in .2 at 50 yards. Have sen the rifle double and hit the same hole more than once!
