Weaver. Depends on what you can find. A bad day at the range is better than a good day at work.

I put Warne steel rings on a 22, a little pricey but they've stayed put. TomP Our country, right or wrong. When right, to be kept right, when wrong to be put right. Carl Schurz (1829 - 1906)

We use all sorts of them here. The ones to avoid are the all aluminium ones, which have the two halves the same, and you tighten them on the receiver. Pick one that has a steel clamp that screws on the side.

Burris makes nice steel rings; last ones I bought were about $30 but that was ten years ago. They were worth the money. TomP Our country, right or wrong. When right, to be kept right, when wrong to be put right. Carl Schurz (1829 - 1906)

I've used Burris, Leupold, and Millett rings for grooved rimfire receivers. All are good. The Milletts are adjustable for windage and also, due to their double clamp design, will fit both narrower and wider dovetails.
