I am going to add results shot by other shooters to our 22 ammo test. So asked Walter to shoot a few groups. And as any activity that Walter gets involved in, it has its funny side. Walter "First I have to move the rest to the right side of the shooting bench" Me "you do that, and what ammo would you like to start with?" "Something very accurate, preferable what we German's make" "OK, here is RWS R 50. You happy with that?" "Yes, what do I do now" "very simple, I will fill up 5 magazines for you with 5 shots each. All you have to do is shoot each magazine at each dot on one of the targets on that board" He started firing, on target number 3. "Why didn't you start with number one?" "Number one is on the left, I started with one o the right" "Typical bloody German, always awkward!" "You Arabs are 10 times worse! You even right from the wrong side!" "Can you stop arguing, and continue shooting" "Yes. I am so happy I am using a GERMAN made rifle, with GERMAN made ammo" He carries on and shoots a group. "Fantastic. Anyone who misses with this cannot blame the ammo" "Great. Just continue and shoot the other groups" He shoots more, and a bullet flies off the group. "That was NOT me. I had the rifle dead steady, and the bullet went off somewhere else!" "Yep. Typical GERMAN ammo being fired in a GERMAN rifle by a GERMAN shooter! Bloody funny ha??" "Saeed, seriously, why did that bullet go off?" " I have no idea. I tried asking it in Arabic, it did not understand me. Try talking to it in German" We moved the target from 50 yards to 75 yards. The results started to open up. Walter "I don't believe this. 25 yards different and so much different" "Wait till you see the 100 yards results. Some of the ammo I had to give up on. As the groups will not fit on the target paper!!?" | ||
