Went to an auction this morning. Lots of guns and coins...for some odd reason they thought I was holding up this card with a number on it and I ended up with a Marlin 925M w/laminate stock...all for a mere $137.00....thats my story and I am sticking to it...All I will say is; after I remove the little white scuff on the stock, it will pass for new....Now to compare it to the savage 17hmr that followed me home last month.....Wife did not warm up to the "Honey, guess what I got YOU for Mothers Day"....

You forgot something important, and that's why you are in the dog house.

You should have told her: "But honey, that's not all you are getting for Mother's Day. I'll also get you several boxes of ammo and a nice scope as soon as I can."
