I have several barrels for my R93 and for the life of me a cannot understand why someone would spend 700 bucks for a barrel when the ammo is so poor! Still, to each his own!

A good 22 Magnum will shoot ten shots into a 3/4" group at 100 meters. I've seen it done repeatedly with an Anschutz and that was in the bad old days before the plastic-tipped cup-and-core bullets they now have.

A 700 dollar barrel is much cheaper than an Anschutz.

If you are a Blaser R 93 user and like it, you will also like the 22 Mag R 93.

However the 22 Mag R 93 "Kit" will cost around $1600.

Still, it is worth it.
