In my opinion the best single action .22 that Ruger has ever offered. Mine is a gem and that has been enhanced by a few pals of mine in the gunsmith trade doing a trigger job, changing the hammer and trigger springs and polishing all the internal parts. Their new rear sight and the fiber optic rear and front are great.

I fondeled one at the store the other day.....it was a darn nice gun with a good feel and better trigger than any Ruger wheel gun I've bought in the past.....I also fondeled a SP-101 in .22 rimfire 8-shot......and I liked that one as well.....but the double action feature don't hold a candle to my S&W 17.....IMO it's a single action only revolver.....but still a fine gun in a good feeling package.

Both of these new Rugers are tempting ...
