i really like the 17hmr but just not for 12-13 a box. mach 2 ammo is usually no more than 6. i asked the atk guys about that and just got this answer of ho hum is the sun out today

I've never figured out why the price difference. Makes the .17HM2 kinda interesting.

Damn! missed out again!Ive been buyng all the mach 2 I can find.

Just bought a CZ varmint in 17M2 and am really going to like it, I believe.
I've only begun to work with it but am pleased so far.

WOW! That's a deal. Been buying mine the last two years from Graff's. Usually have Ely on sale once or twice a year for around $4 a box. Have enough to keep the boys at work in squirrel potpie till I retire but always buy more when the sale rolls around.

Best danged squirrel cartridge I've found. Devestating on head shots but doesn't destroy to much when a body shot is required.
Mine is a re-lined Mosberg 46B. Shoots button hole groups @ 50 yds. with boring regularity.

guess my fetish for the Mach 2 has progressed to the point of it being an obsession...somehow i like about all of them i've seen, and have adopted quite a few.

congrats on a great find on ammo, you can never have to omuch. last time eley was on the cheap i snagged 2 cases at $3.75/box, but have been looking for a cheap source for CCI's, have one 17M2 that prefers them.
