Having tried a supported barrel in my 10/22, I free floated the barrel in the stock and was going to put a Tactical Solutions V Block to help prevent barrel droop. Problem is, the TS V Block doesn't seem to fit on straight like the original factory V Block, and with it in place, the action won't go back in the stock. Ideas? sputster

I just used a Tactical Solutions V Block on the 10/22 I just put together. The V Block only goes on one way and when attached properly the bottom of the V Block protrudes below the receiver. With my Nordic Components AR-22 Receiver Chassis I too could not get it to fit right. With the take down screw tight the receiver was resting on the V Block on not on the receiver. I had to file some material away from the bottom of the V Block (the side that sits on the stock not on the side that goes towards the barrel) to get the front of the receiver to seat properly. Thanks - since the V block was harder than the stock I relieved the area of the stock where the V Block was pushing down. The action still mates up to the stock at the same contact points since the old factory V block wasn't touching anyway. sputster
