Anyone know where I can get my hands on a CZ 452 scout for my son?

Thanks,

Brad

Did you ever find your rifle you were looking for? Didn't see this until now, I have one NIB, not sure I want to sell it, but I could probably get another one as I ordered this one a few months ago.

Word is that CZ is building a CZ 455 scout... that way you will have an interchangeable barrel... and .22 WMR and .17 HMR available... later, of course... {8>Wink... available shortly (as in sometime this millenium as is often the case with firearms manufacturers)...

Yeah, I kind of like the 452 and 453's. Just looked around and the supply on those have all dried up...I rebarreled a 453 and it is my favorite squirrel rifle. Shoots on par with an Anschutz 1710 I've had for many years.

Howdy Matt,

I think you nailed it, they are drying up, but still out there. I'd suggest watching Rimfire Central's classifieds as they pop up often.

Also, that AR-17 you built for me (and several others from The coyote gods page) is still going strong. That LW bbl is an accurate tube!

Wyo,
Good to hear! Don't hear from many on that board anymore...still hear from Harter every now and then. I've build a ton of em since then, kinda liking the 20 tac lately though.

Yep, that would be my choice these days. .17 rem brass is a little pricey to toss about. Usually have to donate one to the grass fairies.

CoyoteGods was kind of a rough place for a newcomer...but I appreciate what that site did for the calling community.

I went with the .204...but I've always wanted a .17cal centerfire.
