I bought a Model 22A for my daughter to have some fun with at a local indoor shooting near where she lives. I mounted a Millett Red Dot Optic on it; one I had around that wasn't in use. I tried several different brands of .22 and finally zeroed it at 25 yards using bulk .22 ammunition, Federal's "Target" grade. I was impressed. The pistol functioned well, no failures to feed, no jams, and an excellent trigger. "When you play, play hard; when you work, don't play at all." Theodore Roosevelt

I shot one of those last week. A gent I normally encounter benching rim fire rifles said he was heading over the the pistol range. Of course the what are you going to shoot conversation took place and I ended up trying his 22A out on the 25 yard target after getting bit closer. It is a nice handgun. I believe there is a steel framed version still in production. I'll probably have that one in the next 12 months. Right now I shoot a couple Rugers MKII's and a T/C contender in .22 LR when I'm not shooting rimfire rifles. Clutch

I have consistently recommended these pistols over the years on this forum. I will post some targets when I can find them. They are not a Bullseye gun, the trigger is not good enough and the weight is rather light, but, off a rest they are extremely accurate with the right ammo. Well, here is one target that I found, 10 rounds, 25 yards from an MTM pistol rest. Win. Super X ammo. Not exactly target ammo but seems to work! Peter. Be without fear in the face of your enemies.
