Anybody know anything about this gun? I can't find them on gunbroker to compare values. The guy tells me it is the only one he has ever saw in 22mag. It has the heavy concave barrel. Any info would be great. Only Russian made gun I know anything about is an AK.

I have one! Search on this forum and you will see some test targets. I love the gun! Unique action and very fast. I believe that EAA is still importing them. Peter. I have one in the .22lr caliber and it is super accurate with less than premium grade ammo. My trigger came very light and the barrel does have that deep recess in it to protect the riflings as they exit the end. I found that you do have to be brisk with the motion of working the action to prevent the fired case from coming back into the action. These are very desirable shooters and in the .22lr I would guess that they are worth $350 to $450 depending on condition. In a 22 mag I wouldn't know the value. Keep it and shoot it and experience some marvelous accuracy.

At the NRA convention this summer Russian American Armory had a booth next to mine (importers of the Saiga rifles). They had all the Izmash rimfire rifles there including 22mags. Biathalon style rifles. I remember talking to the guys about them and wanting to get one. I don't remember the price but they are the current importers, not EAA. So if you can get ahold of Russian American Armory, they can tell you who the distributors are.
