Aguila has brought out a new 22lr round to trump the Velociter...40gr plated hp @ 1500 fps!
Should be interesting to see how they chronograph compared to the CCI round. Any one know when they'll be available?

Well, when I was visiting my friend in Montana last May, it was available for me then. He was testing / evaluating the round for Aquila. I am happy to say that I had a month shooting prairie dogs and rabbits with it. We tried it in a host of different guns and it proved to be an effective and accurate game getter, varmint killer. This is at 60 yards,

Have you read this , Interceptor review this one I can vouch for as being accurate. I was there.

I understand that it is selling out almost as soon as it hits the shops, I am sure you will like it.

Thanks for the Link...

I noticed that the round is offered in round nose as well as hollow points. The solids might make a good choice for small game where you'd want less meat damage yet you still could take advantage of the flater trajectory.

That would be the way to go, I am sure you will not be disappointed. I have no idea when we will get them over here, but, I am not really bothered. I only shoot Eley subs in my 22 lr anyway Big Grin
