What I've mentioned in the past - Cracker Slhouette ! Animal crackers ,adjusting range to suit the shooter. DG with a budget ! Big Grin

Another helpfull thing I learned with was to use 6 or 7 OZ cans in a field at 50 yds. Each time you hit them they bounce ,change position and sometimes very hard to see .Taught me a lot !

My wife and I used to have a lot of fun shooting empty shotshells which were no longer good enough to reload. Standing on their bases at 25-50 yards, they are a fun challenge offhand, and will really teach a new shooter to hold well and will build trigger control muscle memory.

(She also got to where she could pick those little suckers off very well at from 50 feet to 20 yards with her little "Baby Browning" .25 automatic pistol.)

My country gal's just a moonshiner's daughter, but I love her still.

.22s are great fun, everyone should have several.

I always make sure I have lots of those "candy cans" of 500 22 ammo around when my daughters friends come around.

The kids abslutely LOVE shooting.

You should see some of the looks I get from the mothers at school when some of the kids come running and ask "when can I come and have a play day at your house and do some shooting?"

We have a sort of open house policy as far as kids coming to shoot.

The best part is the mothers love it too.

But, my powers of persuations have not been good enough yet to get some of them to shoot the T-Rex with full power loads.

Although they love to shoot the reduced loads.

The dad's refuse to shoot the T-Rex!

They somehow think I might slip them a real load!
